Disneyland Paris Tag.

I copied the questions from Ellie Steadman's youtube video where you can find here

1- When was your first trip and how many times have you been?
My first trip was last September and I have only been that once but planning to go back in December hopefully!

2- What Disney hotels have you stayed in? One you haven't stayed in that you'd liked too?
I didn't actually stay in a Disney hotel but one that I'd like to is obviously the Disneyland Hotel, it looks so beautiful and it would be amazing to literally wake up IN Disney!

3- What is your favourite restaurant?
Chef Mickey's for Breakfast probably!

4- A restaurant you'd like to eat in that you haven't yet?
Walts or Inventions!

5- Your favourite quick service/fast food?
Hakuna Matata probably, its reasonably priced and it's lion king themed what more could you want!?

6- What is your favourite shop?
World of Disney! Its so magical because it's as you walk into the Disney Village and it just makes you want to go in there straight away, I love it!

7- Your favourite season or event?
only ever been when it was 'frozen summer fun' which was really good! But I want to go at Christmas for sure!

8- Disneyland Paris or Walt Disney Studios?
Disneyland! I am a fan of the more 'thrilling' attractions but nothing beats Main Street and the Castle!

9- Your favourite attraction in each park?
Disneyland - probably space mountain!Studios - Rocking Roller Coaster.

10- Your favourite land in the Disneyland Park?
Fantasyland! - But I actually really love Adventureland as well so that's quite hard!

11- Your favourite character meet?
Belle without a doubt. It was so special!

12- Your happiest or best Disneyland Paris memory?
Either meeting Belle, seeing the parade and getting lots of interaction from characters, OR watching Dreams on our last night!

Current top ten Disney movies.

Hello! I am back blogging after a bit of a break. I'm not 100% happy with my blog at the moment so I'm going to keep having a mess round with it. I thought I'd list my current top ten favourite movies, it's so hard to pick just ten so these are the ones I'm watching recently.

1. Beauty and the Beast - favourite of all time.
2. Tangled - Tangled will always hold such a special place in my heart and its so underrated I feel. I love it so much!
3. The Lion King - Such an amazing classic and one of my favourites of all time!
4. Lady and the Tramp - I love this film so much! Dogs are my favourite animal and I can't help but feel so warm inside every time I watch it!
5. Frozen - Yes I'm still with the Frozen hype. It's such an amazing film and the soundtrack will never get old.
6. 101 Dalmatians - As a child this was my favourite! Still to this day I want a dalmatian!
7. Mulan - Again, very underrated. I love everything about this film! + amazing soundtrack!
8. Brave - I love Brave and I love Merida so much! The fact she's such a strong young girl who understands she doesn't need to rely on a prince for happiness is so inspiring! Yay to strong independent women!
9. Fantasia - just amazing.
10. Inside Out - Although its new I adore it! Can't watch it without sobbing my leg off though!

So there is my current top ten list! What movies are you currently watching most?

The Disney Tag!

I'm working on doing a Disney room tour post but as I'm currently between bedrooms with being at home and uni its hard to photograph things and make it look nice when I have half my stuff in one place and half in another so this week I thought I'd keep this post nice and simple and do the Disney Tag, because can you really be a Disney Blogger without doing it?

1. What is your favourite Disney film?

Either Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, Lady and the Tramp or Tangled. If I have to pick one of them it would be Beauty and the Beast though.

2. Which Disney Movie's scene would you love to  live?

See the Light - Tangled - Rapunzel finally gets to live her dream and sharing a boat with Flynn Rider (bae) - yes please!

3. If you were a prince who would you be?

Aladdin I think, purely to be in the Prince Ali scene, or Kristoff but I don't know if he's counted as a prince (oops)

4. If you were a princess who would you be?

Belle I think, I love all of her qualities - she want's to better herself, she's a bit quirky and different but doesn't care and she always see's the best in people!

5. Who do you look like the most?

I wish I looked like a Disney Princess! If I had to say someone it would be Belle purely because I have the same colour hair and eyes! I do have very long hair like Rapunzel though (however not quite 70 foot)

6. If you could choose a Disney Character to be your friend who would you chose?

Ooh this is a hard one! Maybe Sully from Monsters inc, Pascal or Genie!

7. A Disney scene that makes you cry every time?

The Scene from Fox and the Hound - need I say more.

8. Which Disney film have you seen the most?

Beauty and the Beast or 101 Dalmatians (as a child I wore these tapes out)

9. Favourite Disney song?

Got a few!

Hakuna Matata - Lion King

Prince Ali - Aladdin

Part of your world - Little Mermaid

Let it Go - Frozen - it may be overplayed but it still gives me chills!

What are your answers to these questions? Leave me a comment!  There will be a few posts this week as I haven't wrote one in a while due to Uni!

My favourite Disney vloggers!

I love watching YouTube videos in my spare time (does that make me sound sad? Maybe..) and the main types of videos I love watching are Disney themed ones - obviously! I just find it so useful to watch videos of people who have been if you're planning a trip. Its also nice to watch people talk about Disney you can identify with them!

Ellie Steadman - I love watching this Ellie's videos, I feel like I relate to her a lot and she makes amazing vlogs - watch her Disneyland Paris ones they gave me so many tips and ideas for when I went! She is also going to Florida soon so keep an eye out for them vlogs!

https://www.youtube.com/user/xelliesrambling

Jane does Disney - I actually found Jane when I was looking into doing my dcp and watched all of her vlogs which I really enjoyed. Also as she has worked at Disney she has quite a vast knowledge of the parks so I love watching her videos for that!

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDE3M-pnlxAR7I77zjh2-rQ

Sam4God - Recently found her channel but its amazing. She seems so lovely and her Disney vlogs are amazing, they made me feel like I was actually there with her, plus her Florida ones are very long because she rolls all the days she was at a certain park into one, so grab snacks!

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCa8z0dypUP54sVlhVrOGavQ

Lilmisschikas - Charlotte has a really good knowledge of Disney and the wdw parks so I love watching her videos, she also has really good tips and hints about Disney!

I watch a lot more Disney vloggers but I'll leave them for another post. Let me know who yours are! Also comment below any Disney bloggers I'd love to read some!

Booking my Disneyworld holiday.

I thought I'd blog all about my holiday to Disneyworld next year, including everything that you have to do beforehand as it can be a bit daunting booking it for the first time not knowing how to use anything (I myself was very confused and am still working it all out.

I booked my holiday directly through Disney because it was the cheapest way to do it I found. I have only so far booked my hotel and park tickets because it is too far in advance to book the flights yet. However we booked the rest now because there's the deal on with 14 days for the price of 7 (in park tickets). There is also the deal for free dining which we didn't go for however I do wish I'd looked into that further because you probably save a bit of money.

With the deal I booked I'm staying in a value resort hotel, get 14 days for the price of 7 in park tickets, a free memory maker, $100 Disney spending money and 15% off a purchase in the Disney Store which is pretty awesome! This for 3 people cost around the £600 mark.

You then make an account on My Disney Experience which is a really good site and way of planning your trip however you can't actually make any reservations or book fast passes until a few months before. You can plan it all though and you get to choose a character each (I chose Belle obviously). I also downloaded the app to my phone and I like to just have a browse through and choose the things I'd like to do when I'm there.

A week after we'd booked it we could choose our magic bands and so far I have chosen pink (I plan to buy a themed one when I'm there).

That is pretty much all I can do for now, until I book my flights which will hopefully be soon! If anyone has any tips on the My Disney Experience app let me know!

Disneyland Paris

So as I recently returned from a trip from dlp I thought I'd make a blog post all about it sharing my tips and hints. This was my first trip to dlp and I was in awe at how beautiful it was. I was actually told beforehand how 'run down' it was so I had low expectations but was immediately proved wrong. Of course I feel it needs some work to be up to standard with the other Disney parks around the world but nonetheless it was beautiful!

How we booked it.
We actually booked our whole trip through travel republic and we got the whole holiday, including flights, transfers, hotel and park tickets for around £300 which is pretty good for 4 nights. We traveled to Beauvais airport rather than Charles de Gaul which saved us money. We stayed at the Kyriad hotel which despite bad reviews on trip adviser which really good for the price and you really don't spend that much time in the room anyway. As this isn't a Disney hotel you don't get extra magic hours however if you don't book your park tickets and buy an annual pass when you're there it works out the same price for 4 days and you will get the emh so that is something definitely worth looking into.

Day 1.

The flight to Beauvais airport was pretty good, it took around an hour and 20 minutes. The airport however was tiny so if you do ever fly to or from there be prepared. Our transfer then took about 2 hours but we finally got to our hotel at around 4 O'Clock.

We got changed and headed straight to the park via the hotel bus system which literally takes 5 minutes. The very first thing I did was head to the World of Disney and bought myself Minnie Ears and and my photopass then went straight into the Disneyland park and walking in I think I shed a tear with excitement because I was so in awe of the place. Walking down Main Street is my favourite thing to do, over any ride or attraction I love just strolling down towards the castle. A very kind woman then gave us her fast pass tickets for Big Thunder Mountain, so in the mean time we explored the castle a bit then took a ride on Space Mountain as there was only a 15 minute queue - it turned out to be my favourite ride EVER.

We then went on Big Thunder Mountain and Indiana Jones, and explored Adventureland and Frontierland - AMAZING. We then headed out to Mcdonalds in the Disney Village. After this we went back in the Park and caught some of Dreams, however we were far back and we more watching it through peoples cameras. Leaving the park is a bit of a nightmare due to prams ect but if you walk down Liberty Arcade it’s not as bad, getting the bus home however is awful so I would wait it out and look in some shops on main street or grab a drink in the Disney Village.

Day 2

After a good nights sleep we went to the Disneyland Park again and I screamed with excitement as when you walk in there are characters there straight away and Mickey and Minnie were there together so we got in the queue. We were told that Mickey leaves at 11am but didn't think we'd wait that long (we did and Mickey left just before we got to the front) but still it was amazing to meet Minnie - she loved our ears and we got a selfie.

After that we went to Adventureland and met Rafki from the Lion King (one of my favourite movies EVER). He held up my teddy Simba and everyone sung the circle of life - it was a pretty special moment. We then eat in the Hakuna Matata restaurant (sensing a theme here) which was probably one of my favourite quick service meals. After that we got some ice cream and queued for the parade which was AMAZING. Seriously I loved it so so much!

We then done space mountain again then went to the Disney Village and got take away pizzas and chicken nuggets then sat on a bench behind the grass verge and waited for dreams for about 2 hours, which sounds a lot but after a full day of walking it was nice to just sit down and eat, also in the mean time Anna and Elsa drove past for the Royal Welcome which was very exciting! We then watched Dreams from an amazing spot!

Day 3

Now Day 3 was the most stressful but definitely my favourite! We started off with Breakfast with Mickey, an amazing experience! (however if  you go request to be sat in the main part as it was very bright were we sat)

Then we entered the park and I RAN to the princess pavillion as meeting a princess was number 1 on my list of things I wanted to do. However, as we didn't have extra magic hours the queue was already huge and we were told there was a very slim chance of us getting a ticket but I decided to wait anyway because it was worth the chance. To cut a very long (and stressful) story short we did get one (just) and were told to return at 2:45 and we were not to know which princess was in there or choose who we could meet. We then headed to the other park and met Daisy Duck, went on Rocking Roller Coaster (amazing) and Crushes Coaster (also amazing) and a few rides in the Toy Story area before heading back to the Disneyland park to meet our princess!

So we headed to the princess pavillion and of course the princess I wanted to be in there was Belle, she is without a doubt my favourite but I didn't put any hopes on it UNTIL she walked in right in front of us and she was beautiful! But even so I didn't get my hopes up. We then entered and queued some more, it was taking FOREVER and after about an hour the lights started playing up and we were told our time with the princesses was delayed. Eventually however it carried on and we got to the front were there are 2 rooms and they direct you to one, the man who told us where to go (as I had my beauty and the beast phone case on show, subtle)  told us that 'it was a good day for princesses' and I was so nervous! We finally entered the room and it was no other than Belle! I screamed very loudly and ran and hugged her and was showing her face on my shoes and my t-shirt, I couldn't string a sentence together as stupid as it sounds, it was actually my hero standing in front of me! Her attendant was also very lovely and went to get us tissues as yes - I did cry! Belle made a real effort with us and it was the highlight of my whole trip, I'll never forget the moment.

After this we did a few rides in Fantasyland but actually headed out the park and went to the shopping center for our dinner and an early night!

Day 4

Our last day. We went straight for the Studios park and met Buzz Lightyear and did Tower of Terror (I actually chickened out). We then did Ratatouille, definitely get a fast pass for this as it is good but not worth a 70 minute wait! After this we did some shopping (check my last post for what I bought) and queued for the parade directly opposite the entrance - a great spot if you don't mind not being in front of the castle! The parade was another highlight for me - so much interaction from everyone! Flynn Rider smouldered at me and Rapunzel told me she liked my crown and I was showing her my Rapunzel Minnie Mouse - she loved it! Then the Queen of Hearts took her off me and Timon blew me lots of kisses it was amazing!

After the parade we did some rides like Buzz Lightyear, Space Mountain and Indiana Jones and met Alice in Wonderland characters who were really fun! We then actually went to get pizza again and sat directly in front of the castle with no one in front of us for dreams. It was one of the best experiences ever to see it so close up and actually get wet from the water! I didn't take any pictures myself as I just wanted to enjoy it - I actually even cried (no surprise). Then it was time to leave, probably the hardest thing to do is turn your back away from the Castle. As we left people were waving goodbye with Mickey gloves which made me even more emotional. Disneyland is honestly the most magical place and I had the most magical time.

If you got to the end of this blog post thank you so much for reading! If you have any questions about dlp please ask! Honestly I had an amazing time and have missed it every day since being home!
